New Release: Rodger Fox Big Band - Xtra Juicy

1998 Album from The RODGER FOX BIG BAND - first time streamed on internet

The Rodger Fox Big Band released this CD in 1998 and the material on this record was the repertoire for performances at The Jazz Educators Conference in Los Angeles early 1999. The Band also made a trip to Las Vegas to perform at the Riviera Casino - ill fated, as it turned out, as half the band and luggage didn’t make it in time.

It featured all NZ Compositions - with the exception of Ron McClure’s ‘Belle’. It was all part of Rodger’s plan to showcase original NZ Big Band Music to the world.
